Welcome to MVAS
The Milan Village Arts School, founded in 1988, is a non-profit, member supported organization dedicated to promoting the arts. Each year, the school hosts a diverse range of classes, reflecting the rich heritage of arts within the community. Although traditional Scandinavian Folk Arts have been the foundation of the school, classes are also offered in the fabric, book, silver and other mediums.

Join us on the evening of November 19 for the Milan Village Arts School annual fundraiser. This is an opportunity to support the school, catch up with friends and have a great meal. All profits from the night go to promoting the arts and running the school. The 2011 sweepstakes prizes will be drawn that evening.

Syttende Mai in Milan

Milan celebrates Syttende Mai (Norway's Constitution Day) each year on the third Saturday in May. The Milan community comes together to share music, traditional foods, crafts and art, complete with a parade. The Milan Village Arts School will be open and hosting several artist demonstrations and entertainment.
